About this service

Susan Wall, Professional Counsellor, Dip. Couns.

Having worked in the Pet Boarding Industry for over 22 years I have been exposed to many people who have shared their stories of loss of a much loved pet over that journey.  Some to accidental passing, illness, old age or have "gone missing". The pain and grief of that loss can be hard to cope and recover from.  I also have been a pet owner for all of my life and understand the sadness and shock when you lose your much loved pet and companion.   Animal companion loss and grief is recognized as a serious emotional condition that is often as difficult to cope with as the loss of a family or friend and should not be left untreated.

Lets talk about it

The healing journey can begin with talking about the loss, acknowledging the passing of your pet.  Nothing is more natural than grief, so make that step to talk about it now.   You can't begin to cope with your emotions until you let them out.   Please feel at ease  to contact me for a consultation

I can also offer confidential Counselling Service in other areas of concern you may need guidance and support on.

“The recovery process for each person is different and time frames for that recovery is also different”

Whatever the size or type of Pet, their loss is still painful and important to you

Life often presents us with difficult decisions to make.  One of the most difficult decisions you may one day have to face is whether the time has arrived to euthanize a sick or old pet to prevent further suffering.  I can provide you with support and understanding on how to ease the pain, strain and guilt associated with that decision when that time approaches.
